The range
Three families, one brand
Hidea covers the whole range that matters in the Caribbean: the tender you hoist onto the deck, the yole or the fishing skiff, and the day boat that needs torque and reliability. Every engine is a 4-stroke.
2.5 to 20 hp
The portables, with a carburetor
Light, simple, recoil or electric start depending on the model. The engine for a tender, a small yole or inshore fishing.

The compact EFI engines
DELPHI electronic fuel injection on mid-size displacements. Key start, cold engine included, and a noticeably more reasonable fuel consumption.

The technology
Why fuel injection changes life on board
From 20 hp up, Hidea moves to DELPHI programmed electronic fuel injection. In practice, here is what you feel at the dock and at sea.
- It starts on the first turn of the keyThe electronics meter the air-fuel mixture on their own, cold engine included. No more choke to work, no more starter cord to pull.
- Less fuel at cruising speedMultipoint injection adjusts the mixture to the load and the engine speed, which stretches your range on long outings.
- Constant engine monitoringTemperature and oil pressure are checked continuously; the engine warns you before something breaks.
- An underwater exhaust, so a quiet oneThe gases exit under the water through the propeller. Less noise, less vibration, a less tiring day of fishing.

An outboard is not judged on the day you buy it but on the day it breaks down. Hidea is distributed in Martinique by Extreme Marine: the purchase, the installation and the service all happen in the same place, in Le Robert.
Installation on your boat
Propeller choice, shaft length, remote control, instruments, wiring and testing. We fit the engine to the hull, not the other way around.
Maintenance and parts
Servicing, storage, wear parts. The service shop is right here, in Le Robert, with technicians who know the brand.
