How Extreme Marine collects, uses and protects your personal data when you contact us or browse this site.
This English translation is provided for convenience. The French version is the only legally binding one.

1. Who is responsible for your data
This site, available at https://extrememarine.fr, is published by SARL Extreme Marine, a marine dealership in Martinique. Extreme Marine is the controller of the personal data collected on this site.

2. The data we collect
We only collect the data you send us yourself when you use the forms on the site, plus some technical data needed for the site to work properly.
Data sent through our forms
On the contact form and the quote request, we collect:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- the content of your message or of your request;
Technical data
Like most sites, this site records some technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and may place cookies. The details are given in section 7.
We collect no sensitive data and we never ask you for banking details through this site.
3. Why we use it
Your data is used only for the following purposes:
- answering your contact, information and quote requests;
- managing the business relationship that follows (sale, maintenance, financing, trade-in);
- keeping the site working properly and secure, and improving it.
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing and we do not sell it.
4. On what legal basis
Depending on the case, the processing of your data is based on:
- your consent, when you send us a request through a form or when you accept non-essential cookies;
- the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the contract, when your request comes before or goes with a purchase, a maintenance job or a trade-in;
- our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and in answering your requests.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data for a limited time, proportionate to the purpose:
- contact and quote requests with no follow-up: up to 3 years after the last exchange;
- data linked to a business relationship (purchase, maintenance, trade-in): for the duration of the relationship, then for the applicable statutory retention periods;
- cookies and trackers: for the periods given in section 7, and at most 13 months for cookies subject to consent.
6. Who has access to your data
Your data is intended for the Extreme Marine teams in charge of customer relations and of handling your request. It may be passed on to our technical providers (hosting, site maintenance) only as far as needed for their work, and under an obligation of confidentiality. The site is hosted by Amen (12-14 Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris). No data is transferred or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.
7. Cookies
This site uses cookies to work properly, to measure its audience and to improve your browsing. On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through that banner or in your browser settings. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to work do not require your consent.
8. Security of your data
The site is accessible over a secure connection (HTTPS). We put in place reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or disclosure.
9. Your rights
In accordance with the Règlement général sur la protection des données, or RGPD (GDPR), Regulation 2016-679, and with the loi Informatique et Libertés (French Data Protection Act), you have the following rights over your data:
- right of access: to know what data we hold about you;
- right of rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- right of erasure: to ask for your data to be deleted;
- right to object to and to restrict the processing;
- right to portability of your data;
- right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
